For our online Full Service medical card option, the patient will schedule an appointment and answer our online medical questionnaire.  After this is complete the doctor will simply the patient on the phone to get them approved.  Immediately following will pay the patients $40 state fee and, finish the rest of the process for them.  Medical marijuana card will arrive via email the same day. 

For our online Basic Service medical option, it is the same initial appointment process.  The difference is you the state fee is not included and, the patient will be setting up their own account on the MRA website and, submitting all their own information.  Once the appointment is scheduled, we email a guide to complete this process.  As long the patient submits the application the same day as their appointment, they will receive a medical marijuana card via email the same day. 

In Person appointments will be done at either our Grand Rapids office or our Wixom office depending on which location is selected.  In-person appointments will follow the same process but, in a face-to-face doctor patient setting.  we also offer walk-ins.  Walk-ins are ONLY welcome during in-person clinic hours posted on our contact page 

In-Person appointments are also eligible for same day medical cards via email. 

The Marijuana Regulatory Agency in Michigan has more than a dozen conditions residents can use to qualify for a medical marijuana card.  The conditions are as follows:

  • Spinal cord injury 
  • Tourette’s syndrome 
  • Ulcerative colitis 

  In addition, Michigan allows other qualifications for a medical marijuana card.  If your treatment of a disease or medical condition causes one or more of the following issues:

  • Cachexia 
  • Seizures (including but not limited to those characteristic of epilepsy) 
  • Severe and chronic pain 
  • Severe and persistent muscle spasms (including but not limited to those characteristic of multiple sclerosis) 
  • Severe nausea 

A: Unfortunately, no.

A: Medical records are not required to get your medical card online, or in person.  However, if you have them, we ask that you attach them in the upload section of our medical history questionnaire when scheduling your appointment, or bring them to your in-person appointment if possible.

• Renewals: Bring your photo ID, $70 Cash, and your current Medical Marijuana Card 
• First Time / Expired – No medical Records:  Bring your photo ID and $100 Cash. 
• First Time / Expired with medical Records: Bring your photo ID, $90 Cash, and relevant medical records.

     Basic service medical card – Yes, the fee is $40

A: Denials happen less than 1% of the time with our online medical cards, so it is extremely rare.  The majority of denials come from mailing your physicians certification in through the mail, which is only if you’re not planning to submit via the MRA online portal after an in-person appointment, and here is why. 

A denial means there was an error in your paperwork. Don’t worry!  We will take care of this issue for you.  Come into our office during clinic hours and we will file a resubmission. 

Almost everyone submits their paperwork via the online portal, or pays for full service so we submit it for them.  Moreover, this is typically a problem of the past.

A: If your medical card is expired you will of course be able to get your card again, but you will not be able to file as a renewal.  A Renewal must be performed any time within 60 days before expiration.

A:Yes, this is not a problem at all.

A: You are not required to have a Caregiver. For example, if you become our patient, then you are allowed to grow 12 plants and possess 2.5 ounces of medicine for your condition.

A: For online appointments we accept credit or debit card payments. 

We accept cash payments only for in person appointments.
